Privacy Policy

Summary:Your notes stay on your device. Quick Notes does not collect, transmit, sell, or share note content. We do not track browsing history. Optional local usage insights can store minimal funnel counters on this device only (never note text, no server telemetry). Optional Pro payment may use third-party providers (email and license identifiers only — never your notes).
Local storage
- Notes, folders, and trash: IndexedDB in your browser
- Settings, reminders, trial state, and a hashed PIN (if enabled): browser extension local storage
- Optional page context (URL, title, favicon): saved locally with the note when you enable “Include page context” and create a note from the popup
- Review status (new / reviewed / archived) for your inbox — stored locally on each note
- Page Memory surfaces related notes on the current page or site — matching happens locally; URLs are not sent to our servers
- No cloud sync of note text — notes stay in your browser unless you export them
What we do not do
- Collect, transmit, sell, or share your note content
- Track browsing history
- Send analytics or advertising trackers to Quick Notes servers
- Require an account for the free product

ExtensionPay / Stripe— Card payments. Payment details are handled by Stripe; Quick Notes does not store card numbers.
License API— Stripe/ExtensionPay restore and device activation (extension ID, device ID, email — not note contents).
Optional local usage insights
If enabled in Settings, Quick Notes stores a minimal local funnel log in chrome.storage.local (install, first open, first note, reminder created, paywall viewed, upgrade click, purchase restore).
